Colette Byrne
Chief Executive with Kilkenny since August 2015. Colette previously worked as CE of Offaly County Council, and prior to that worked for over 20 years with Waterford City Council. Colette holds an Masters in Public Administration, having qualified as an Accountant in the 90s.
In addition to Chairing the Civic Trust, Colette is a Director of the Kilkenny Abbey Quarter Development Partnership Ltd , Chairs the Age Friendly Alliance for Kilkenny and is a member of the Local Community Development Committee.
John Purcell
John Purcell is a founding shareholder and director of KCLR 96fm where he is also Chief Executive. He is a director of national radio station NewsTalk and IRS + a radio sales company. Currently he is Chairman of IBI the organisation representing Irish Independent Radio Operators and is a former President of Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Kilkenny Arts Festival Limited. He holds a Masters Degree in Communications from DCU and a BA in History and Politics from UCD
